Median salaries from the Ashdown Accountancy Salary Guide 2026. Finance recruiters typically charge 17 to 20% of first-year salary. Employer NI at 15% above £5,000 (2026/27). Employer pension at the 3% auto-enrolment minimum on qualifying earnings (£6,240 to £50,270). Equipment, software, benefits, bonus and management time are left out, so the real in-house cost is higher. Finatec uses published "from" prices.
